Club Burwood Group – Online Ordering Terms & Conditions

By using this service and submitting an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. On-Premises Consumption Only

  1. No Takeaway: All food and beverage items purchased through this web store are for consumption on-premises only. Under no circumstances are items permitted to be removed from the venue.
  2. Table Service: All orders will be delivered directly to your designated table by our staff. You must remain at your selected table to receive your order.

2. Age Requirement & Identification

  1. Minimum Age: To purchase alcohol, you must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Mandatory ID: Even if an order is placed digitally, Club Burwood Group staff reserve the right to request valid legal identification (e.g., NSW Driver Licence, Photo Card, or Passport) before serving alcohol at the table.
  3. Legal Offense: It is an offense under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW) to provide false information to obtain alcohol or to purchase alcohol for a minor.

3. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

The Club Burwood Group strictly adheres to Liquor & Gaming NSW RSA guidelines:

  1. Right to Refuse: Staff will refuse to serve alcohol to any patron who appears intoxicated, even if the order has already been paid for online.
  2. RSA Refusal & Refunds: In the event of a service refusal based on RSA (intoxication or lack of valid ID), a refund for the alcoholic portion of the order is at the absolute discretion of management.
  3. Supervision: All digital orders are monitored by our RSA Marshals and Duty Managers to ensure a safe environment.

4. Member Status & Governance

  1. Eligibility: All patrons using this service must be current financial members or authorized guests.
  2. Compliance: By placing an order, you agree to comply with the Club Burwood Group Constitution, By-Laws, and Code of Conduct.
  3. Disciplinary Action: Failure to comply with these terms or any direction from staff may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.

5. Ordering Accuracy

Table Numbers: It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the correct table number is entered. The Club is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrectly entered table location.

6. Refunds

During busy service periods delivery wait times can often exceed 30 minutes. No refunds will be given for wait times of less than 60 minutes and for wait times longer than 60 minutes, a refund is at the discretion of management.

Important Information

Restrictions announced on Sunday 22 March 2020 have resulted in the closure Club Burwood RSL, Club Burwood & Croydon Park effective immediately.
We support these restrictions to combat the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of our Staff and Members during this unprecedented time.
